On counter in February ‘09 you can expect a lineup of lipsticks called Perfect Rouge and coordinating Smoothing Lip Pencils from Shiseido. This will be the first full line for Shiseido for Dick Page, Shiseido Makeup Artistic Director.
The collection will include 20 lipstick shades ($25 each) and 7 lip pencils ($20). The lipsticks range in shades from neutral beige to cherry red, and are top of the line in color and skin care technology. The lipsticks contain Shiseido’s proprietary Super Hydro-Wrap Vitalizing DE which is purported to hold moisture in the lips as well as Dual Optimizing Powder which works with available light and adjusts the color accordingly, providing a depth to the color that has been unseen before.
“I want people to get back into the simplicity of lipstick and play,” says Dick Page. I am very much looking forward to that!
